Dr. APJ AKTU Lucknow Noida Campus | In this post we provide you full detail about the time given by university to their bachelor and management students to complete or clear their courses on regular/ex/readmitted etc basis or if any students fail in between or in 1st year.
B.Tech students get maximum of seven years, though the course if of four years, to complete their course. MBA and M.Tech students get four years (course is of two years) to complete the course. MCA students get five years (course is of three years) to complete the course.
But in any case, they fail to clear one or more subjects even in seven years, they can appear for the last time for the examinations to be held in December. The extension, said Kumar, has been given on mercy plea of the students by the vice-chancellor.
According to the university ordinance, if a first year student enrolled in any bachelor programme (B.Tech etc) and MBA, and MCA fails consecutively for two years, he/she is considered unfit for pursuing technical education, and hence, his/her name is struck off from the respective college affiliated to AKTU. The ordinance further says that if the VC wants, he can give a third chance to such students.
